Natural IVF / Mini IVF
Mini IVF is a fertility treatment in which ovarian stimulation of the female patient is performed by applying a minimal dose of hormonal medication to be stimulated with the purpose of reducing the side effects of the high hormonal concentration and increasing the quality of the eggs retrieved for fertilization.
Advantages
As fewer doses of medication are prescribed, the lower the cost of medication, as it considerably reduces the cost since the main purpose is to obtain 2 to 3 good quality eggs in each egg retrieval. Since all the eggs are fertilized and the purpose is that we transfer all the embryos, the cost of cryopreservation is eliminated. By using less hormonal medications, the patient requires fewer visits to the clinic, making the procedure more convenient.
Disadvantages
As we retrieve a smaller number of eggs, the chances of successful treatments may be lower than expected, so this technique is recommended for patients with a very good ovarian factor prognosis.
